Over the years we have been asked if we carry peg lowerers, and we have had to say no, until now. Simply put, until recently I have not seen any that "worked".
These are for the original Concours, now affectionately known as the C10. If you're looking for a great solution for your C14, we've got that for you right here!
Units on the market have used the stock pegs and placed them down, but outward as well, making the pegs prone to premature dragging and placing the feet at a very uncomfortable position as they relate to the foot controls - the brake and shifter.
A COGger put together this setup utilizing GL1800 pegs and an all steel bracket. This configuration drops the pegs 1-1/2'', while moving them back approximately 1/2".
Some adjustment of the brake lever and shifter will likely be necessary for maximum comfort. Also, the springs that are used with the stock pegs are no longer used with this setup. This does result in the pegs being a little looser in their mounts. Many customers have reported that this takes a little getting used to, but have been very satisfied with the results.
We feel this is a greatly improved solution to other products on the market. We call them Kneesavers!
Check out some comparison photos here to get a real flavor for the difference between ours and other offerings.
Our Kneesavers come as a complete kit with GL1800 pegs included. The price shown includes everything you need for complete installation.
