Frequently an overlooked maintenance item when replacing brake pads or rebuilding calipers, a new spring will help keep the pads where the belong, and perhaps the frustration level as well!
This is Kawasaki PN 92144-1070, and it is the correct part for the later years, 1994 through 2006. PN 92144-1525 is for the rear caliper on all years 1986 through 2006, and is available individually here. If you need a replacement set for the full bike, make the proper selection from the drop down option list, and it will be included in the package.
